Dave Joyce, The CWU National Health, Safety and Environment Officer has written to Royal Mail regarding 'Royal Mail implementing Pegasus Geo Route Revisions and work absorption by executive action without the proper meaningful involvement and consultation with CWU Safety Representatives.'Dave reminds Royal Mail that 'Safety Representative involvement and consultation is required by Law' and 'Is reflected in Royal Mail's own Safety Policy as well as being set out in a Royal Mail/CWU National Agreement.'
And says "Despite the fact that there may be an IR breakdown, management's health and safety duties remain and can not be set-aside."
